Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Hall Meadow Plants Oak tree to commemorate Queens Jubilee
On February 6th 2022, The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom.
Hall Meadow Primary School Council planted trees in their garden this week, including a special Oak tree, to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II. They look brilliant, and we can't wait to watch them grow.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events and initiatives will take place throughout the year, culminating in a four-day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June. As this takes place during half-term, InMAT staff have the opportunity to celebrate the Jubilee on July 22nd, ending the academic year 1 day earlier than planned.
We look forward to sharing more Platinum Jubilee celebrations from our schools over the course of the year!
